Two Dozen Reasons To Drive A Prius

I agree with Richard Miniter:

Every time you squeeze the trigger on the gas pump, you are putting money into the pockets of terrorists.

Trace back the snaking hose, past the pump and the oil refinery, and you will find nearly two dozen oil kingdoms — all of which, to some degree or another, fund al Qaeda, Hezbollah, Hamas and other jihadi groups.
And here's one more reason: I drove mine to Williamsburg, VA and back (540 mi.) last Sunday on a single 11-gallon tank of gas.

Note: I deleted a very long anonymous comment from this post because I discovered that it had been cut-and-pasted without attribution from a newspaper editorial.

If commenters wish to make their own comments, or link to other sources that's fine, but they should not post items from others as if they had written them themselves.

Hybrids are smart and responsible vehicles no matter what your reasoning is. If you can afford it, you're being recless not to drive an enviromentally friendly vehicle like the Prius.
