At the moment, I've got a couple of deadlines + finals coming up.

Thanks for reading.David Whartonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13251439852685796681noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9159479.post-76509214958540695222007-04-22T16:04:00.000-05:002007-04-22T16:04:00.000-05:00I am posting this comment in the "wrong" place on ...I am posting this comment in the "wrong" place on your blog--I know--but, could you please write something about The Village at North Elm, and what coulda shoulda woulda been at the Shoppes at Friendly?

http://www.villageatnorthelm.com/about.htm

I grit my teeth now as I DRIVE BY the new, tacky Harris Teeter on the way to the good old normal HT near Guilford College thinking about this. I literally despise seeing an overpriced strip mall from hell on that property. I can't even bring myself to go to REI, it's so disturbing.

It's my biggest disappointment in Greensboro. As an ex-pat from a larger town, I keep thinking that Greensboro is on the verge of being cool (God knows, the infrastructure is here)--and with this many colleges, this many wonderful creative people--it has had every chance.

Clearly, I enjoy your blog, or I wouldn't put in a request for a comment from you.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
