Also, find a wife or husband to stay with. It's a heck of a lot easier with two incomes not to mention it's much easier to handle kids as a tag team.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9159479.post-1130275641719713892005-10-25T16:27:00.000-05:002005-10-25T16:27:00.000-05:00I tend to agree with Ed; the reaction is typical o...I tend to agree with Ed; the reaction is typical of those who don't like associating economic status with achievement - as if to say that "money" is "brains." The article pointed out, but perhaps not totally effectively, that economic advantage tows other advantages, including cultural opportunities, likelihood of pre-school, book-reading, and on and on. Ah well, nothing about public education is ever going to be neutral.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9159479.post-1130273344380239152005-10-25T15:49:00.000-05:002005-10-25T15:49:00.000-05:00I've been confused by the vehement reactions to th...I've been confused by the vehement reactions to the story, too. Of course it's not the whole answer, but people seem to want to deny it's even part of the answer.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
